Charles (Chuck) James is a lifelong St. Louisan and a graduate of Saint Louis University High School. Chuck built his career around serving individuals and small businesses with integrity, clarity, and genuine care. More than half of his work is devoted to helping families plan their estates while avoiding probate and minimizing taxes.

In the early 2000s, Chuck, his wife and another Ferguson couple opened The Whistle Stop, a frozen custard and restaurant business in Ferguson. This experience deepened his understanding of the struggles small business owners face and strengthened his commitment to the community he served as an attorney.

Chuck loves camping with his wife, four children and six grandchildren. He is also a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. In both his work and his free time, Chuck loves exploring new technology.
